There are two ways of registering a trademark with more than one class in Chile, you can file a single application for several classes or you can register each class independently.
The official fees do not increases or decreases if the application is submitted in either of the two options, what it does changes are the professional fees of the lawyers.
You must have in mind that when there is an application for a multi-class trademark, in some cases one or more of the classes can be refuse and this will affect the time of the process of the other classes. On the other hand, if each class is register separately and one of the classes is refuse, the other classes will not be affected and will remain in the registration process.
